The Apollo - 44 Macleay St, Potts Point

This classy, contemporary Greek taverna will leave you hearts and stomachs full. Start with the taramasalata and pita bread, feast on the roast lamb ribs and traditional lemon potatoes, and finish with a dessert of your choice (read: order the loukoumades - Greek Doughnuts). Bistro Rex - 50 Macleay St, Potts Point
Bistro Rex is a sophisticated take on a Parisian Bistro in the heart of Potts Point. This French dining room balances a casual vibe with its impressive interiors, set in the former Commonwealth Bank building. The restaurant uses native Australian produce and ingredients to serve mouthwatering classic French dishes, chicken liver parfait and onion soup. It’s hard to go past their steak frites - although it is drowning in butter (as it should be!). If you wake up feeling a little guilty, check out some of Sydney’s most beautiful coastal walks.

Fratelli Paradiso - 12-16 Challis Ave, Potts Point
This neighbourhood favourite is a sophisticated Italian trattoria worthy of your tastebuds and wallet. Choose from any of the dozen or so classics scribbled in italian on the blackboard, and pair it with a glass from their curated italian wine list and it’s hard to go wrong. There’s a good reason why Fratelli Paradiso is a Sydney institution.
