At Circular Quay you will find Sydney's most famous and recognisable landmarks, the Sydney Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. A great vantage point for photos is from Mrs Macquarie's Chair in The Domain, near the Royal Botanic Garden. The sandstone bench on the peninsular was hand carved by convicts in 1810 for Governor Macquarie's wife.
At Circular Quay you will also find the ferry wharf where you can catch a ferry to Manly, Taronga Zoo, Double Bay or a hop on / hop off sightseeing cruise. For all ferry routes and the complete timetable visit www.transportnsw.com or speak to terminal staff.
Tip: There are many bars and restaurants located at the Overseas Passenger Terminal. Head there at sunset for views of the Opera House while enjoying a drink or dining.
