The Sydney Mardi Gras Festival is one of Australia’s most famous and well-loved events, bringing thousands of visitors to Sydney to join in the celebrations. It captures the imagination of Australia’s LGBTQI+ and mainstream communities, taking over the city for weeks on end, culminating in the world-famous Parade: a colourful and dazzling night of pride, celebration and self-expression.

The Parade | Saturday 6 March 2021 | from 7 pm
This year, the Parade will be held at the Sydney Cricket Ground, (SCG) Moore Park, with spectacular floats, thousands of participants, a veritable smorgasbord of glittering colour and spectacular costumes, the parade showcases the glitz and glamour of our LGBTQI+ community.

The Festival will run from Friday 19 February 2021 to Sunday 7 March 2021.

The Mardi Gras Film Festival
A great line up of beautiful, funny and poignant Australian and Interntational Films are showing this year with the Film Festival Opening Gala being held at our local cinema, Moonlight Cinema, in Centennial Park close by to our properties in Potts Point and Randwick
Plus you can see the Closing Event and all of the Festival productions at our local, Randwick Ritz.

SYDNEY WORLDPRIDE 2023 - 24 FEBRUARY TO 4TH MARCH 2023
EXCITING NEWS, Sydney has won the bid to host WorldPride 2023. This means Sydney will become the first destination in the Southern Hemisphere to host WorldPride, the marquee international LGBTQI pride event. WorldPride 2023 will coincide with the 45th anniversary of the first Mardi Gras Parade and the 50th Anniversary of the first Australian Gay Pride Week. WHAT A CELEBRATION THIS WILL BE!
