Joseph Hyde is a popular local eatery that boasts excellent coffee, extra-friendly staff, dog-friendly space and an even friendlier menu; designed with an abundance of vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free options or if you eat everything, you can't go past their ultimate Karage chicken roll, shredded cabbage, kewpie mayo with bulldog sauce.
Barista and café-veteran Lou Hunt is serious about her coffee and the quality of their seasonal locally sourced menu. Every day, people come for near and far to treat themselves to their selection of light and fluffy muffins with some decadent concoctions, like honeycomb and chocolate chip, peanut butter and banana, or the regular berry variety! If that was not enough to convince you, this venue is also fully licenced - so you can accompany their famous carrot cake waffle with a side of your favourite midday booze. It's just up the stairs from Springfield.
