The Butler Potts Point honours the historic ‘Butlers Restaurant’ that occupied the same site many years ago, just up from the Butler Stairs - the walkway down through Woollomooloo to the city and situated closest to our property Springfield by Sydney Lodges, only a few minutes from Bayswater and The Maisonette, so it's an easy walk home after lunch or dinner or starting point for a champagne or cocktail before enjoying a night out.
The space has maintained the original sandstone walls, amongst a forest garden oasis that brings the outdoors in. A perfect place to sit and enjoy the extensive wine and cocktail list with a food fusion of Iberian American food. The New Zealand born Chef, Amber Doig has just returned from New York where she enhanced her style and finesse under the superstar tuteledge of chef Alex Stupac at the Empelion New York group. Amber combines her own fresh creative method and flavours to bring a modern style of sharing plates at the Butler.
