Kürtősh⁣ ⁣

Make yourself at home at Kürtősh in Randwick, a landmark cafe at The Spot. The Kurtosh is a pastry that is distinctively made in the traditional Hungarian way, with a caremlised crispy flaky outside and the soft inner pastry on the inside which is often sold as street snacks from carts all over Hungary.

This traditional Hungarian pastry is famously known as chimney cake – watch the chef at the window prepare the thin ribbon of dough coiling it around the oversized rolling pin and then rolling again in chopped nuts, chocolate or spices for added texture & flavour, and then baked into sweet golden coils of deliciousness. They also specialise in beautiful decadent cakes that can be bought by the slab or the slice, from fudgey chocolate slices to featherlight sponges and cheesecakes perfect to eat immediately or to share for any occasion.

Now with your mouth watering and your nose full of freshly baked pastries go on we dare you to drop in for a coffee and something sweet, and then let us know which one you decided to try first!
