CHECK-IN: Standard check-in time is 2:00 PM. Upon arrival, the credit card used to book as well as identification matching the person and name the room was booked under are required. That person must be present on arrival and must be staying at the property. Any use of a third-party credit card must be pre-arranged with the property prior to arrival and written authority to use that third-party card must be provided.

CHECK-OUT: All guests must vacate their room by 10:00 AM on their date of departure. Departure after this time may incur additional charges. Late check-out (12:00 PM) under the GWB loyalty program is subject to availability and must be arranged prior to 9:00 AM on your day of departure.

NO HOUSEKEEPING: If you have booked the “Earth Lover (no housekeeping)” Rate Type you will not receive any housekeeping for the duration of your stay.

NON-SMOKING POLICY: In accordance with Australian law, our hotel has a strict non-smoking policy. Smoking is prohibited anywhere on our premises. If you choose to ignore this policy there will be a minimum $200 charge, plus additional costs associated with restoring the room to its original condition.

CREDIT CARD POLICY: Visa / MasterCard incur a non-refundable 1.5% surcharge per transaction, Debit transactions incur a non-refundable 0.5% surcharge per transaction and AMEX / JCB / Union Pay payments, a non-refundable 3% surcharge per transaction. A 25-cent fee will apply to all transactions. We reserve the right to pre-authorise your credit card at any time after booking is made, for any amount, but not more than the total amount of your booking, including any extras. The purpose of the credit card pre-authorisation is to securely guarantee funds for accommodation and incidental charges. If a pre-authorisation is declined we will request a new credit card number be provided. The new credit card must be in the same name as the booking. If it is not in the same name as the booking, an authority to charge form will need to be completed pursuant to our third party payment terms. If no new card is provided within 48 hours of us notifying you, we reserve the right to cancel the booking. If any new card provided is declined we reserve the right to cancel your booking with no further notice.

ACCESS: Guests must be 18 years or older, and if not they must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Only persons registered with the hotel are permitted to access the hotel and rooms, we do not accept visitors. We reserve the right to refuse service to any guest or invitee of a guest.

PERSONAL ITEMS: We do not take responsibility for any loss, damage or destruction to any personal property brought onto these premises. Personal property includes any personal effects and motor vehicles.

PRIVACY: Do Not Disturb signs are available for your use. The housekeeping team may choose to enter the room for your safety or if Management suspects a breach of terms and conditions. Please note that by displaying the Do Not Disturb sign your room will not be serviced. In all common areas of the property, CCTV cameras are in operation, and footage is reviewed as required. It is prohibited to record (including by not limited to audio, video, photography) our staff in any area of the property without their permission. You agree to receive commercial electronic messages from us in the future unless you advise us in writing otherwise.

STAY AND SAVE: The “Stay & 3 Save” and “Stay 4 & Save”  non-refundable Rate offers are available to book up to 7 days prior to arrival.

PROMO CODES: The 10% GWB discount does not apply to seasonal promotions, contracted rates or negotiated rates.

By Agreeing to these terms and conditions you acknowledge that unless we come to an alternative arrangement with you, any credit card you have provided prior to or during your stay will be charged for all accommodation, cancellation, non-arrival or incidental charges relating to your stay, even if that amount is higher than the amount that may have been pre-authorised on that card or higher than the amount reflected on your original booking. You agree to voluntarily vacate the property on the day of departure or at the request of Management if earlier than reflected on your original booking.

CANCELLATION POLICY

FLEXIBLE: If you have booked the Best Flexible Rate or Earth Lover (no housekeeping) Rate, any booking modifications, including date changes and/or a full cancellation of your booking, must be made by 2 pm, 48 hours of prior to your arrival date. If not made by this time, you will incur a charge equivalent to the value of the first night booked. All changes are subject to availability and any applicable charges. If a date change is possible, the originally booked nightly rate may be subject to change and a higher rate may apply. Any booking modifications, for bookings made directly with the property or Sydney Lodges website, requested after check-in must occur at least 48 hours prior to the change taking place to avoid any charges.

FLEXIBLE PAYMENT: All bookings require a valid credit card guarantee at time of booking. Payment will be taken upon arrival at the property or during pre-check-in on the day of arrival.

FLEXIBLE NO SHOW POLICY: Failure to arrive at the property on the booked arrival date will be treated as a no-show and the remainder of the booking will be cancelled. You will incur a charge equivalent to the first night of the booking.

PROMO CODE/RATE: Application of the GWB promo code or rate specific promo codes for flexible bookings made via the Sydney Lodges website entitles you to a modification/cancellation policy of 24 hours instead of the standard 48 hours.

STAY LOCAL PACKAGE: If you have booked the Stay Local Package, documentation requesting proof of purchase will be sent to you for completion via email after departure. It is your responsibility to collect your restaurant/cafe/bar receipts once you pay for your meal, drinks etc and before you leave the selected local venue. Administration in the form of copies of documentation being acquired later on the part of the local venue will not be entered into. Sydney Lodges will offer you a rebate of your expenses of up to $50.00 per day (per room, not per person staying) upon receiving from you, proof of purchase/s from the selected local venues. Rebates will be paid within 6 weeks of receiving completed documentation in full. NON-REFUNDABLE: If you have booked a Non-Refundable or Promotional rate (including all Stay and Save, Hot Deal or Early Bird rates) booking modifications including date changes are not allowed. Cancellation of your booking will incur a charge equivalent to the total cost of the booking.

NON-REFUNDABLE PAYMENT: All bookings require a valid credit card guarantee at time of booking. Payment is non-refundable and the total cost of your accommodation will be charged upon confirmation of your booking.

NON-REFUNDABLE NO SHOW POLICY: Failure to arrive at the property on the booked check-in date will be treated as a no-show and the remainder of the booking will be cancelled. You will incur a charge equivalent to the total cost of the booking.

NEW YEAR’S EVE NON-REFUNDABLE: If you have booked a non-refundable New Year’s Eve rate, all bookings between 30th December and 1st January (inclusive) by default have a non-refundable policy – should this be unclear, this clause would supersede others. Modifications and/or cancellations are strictly not allowed. Cancellation of your booking will incur a charge equivalent to the total cost of the booking.

NEW YEAR’S EVE NON-REFUNDABLE PAYMENT: All bookings require a valid credit card guarantee at time of booking. Payment is non-refundable and the total cost of your accommodation will be charged upon confirmation of your booking.

NEW YEAR’S EVE NON-REFUNDABLE NO SHOW POLICY: Failure to arrive at the property on the booked check-in date will be treated as a no-show and the remainder of the booking will be cancelled. You will incur a charge equivalent to the total cost of the booking.

NEGOTIATED RATES BOOKED VIA PROMO CODE: If you have booked a negotiated rate via a designated promo code on the Sydney Lodges website, booking modifications, including date changes are subject to the terms of the contract. Please contact the property or your accommodation coordinator for further information and to avoid and any applicable charges.

NEGOTIATED RATES BOOKED VIA PROMO CODE PAYMENT: If you have booked a negotiated rate via a designated promo code on the Sydney Lodges website, all bookings require a valid credit card guarantee at the time of booking. A deposit may be required depending on the contract. Please contact the property or your accommodation coordinator for further information. Final payment will be taken on arrival at the property or during pre-check-in on the day of arrival.

NEGOTIATED RATES BOOKED VIA PROMO CODE NO SHOW POLICY: Failure to arrive at the property on the booked arrival date will be treated as a no-show and the remainder of the booking will be cancelled. You will incur a charge equivalent to the total cost of the booking.

WEEKLY RATE: If you have booked the Weekly Rate, any booking modifications, including date changes, are not allowed for the first 7 nights. If you are requesting to change dates after the first 7 nights of your booking, modifications requested (including after check-in) must occur at least 48 hours prior to the change taking place. Cancellation of your booking will incur a charge equivalent to the first 7 nights.

WEEKLY RATE PAYMENT: Payment of the first 7 nights is non-refundable and will be charged as a deposit upon confirmation of your booking. Payment of the remainder of the stay will be taken upon arrival at the property or during pre-check-in on the day of arrival.

WEEKLY RATE NO SHOW POLICY: Failure to arrive at the property on the booked check-in date will be treated as a no-show and the remainder of the booking will be cancelled. You will incur a charge equivalent to the first 7 nights of your booking.

GUESTS WITH BENEFITS

The Guests with Benefits loyalty program (“Program”) benefits and membership are offered at the sole discretion of Sydney Lodges and it’s participating properties as per the Sydney Lodges website; www.sydneylodges.com.

PROGRAM OPERATIONS: The Program is operated by the Sydney Lodges brand (proprietor: Hiperoca Pty Ltd), 6 Perouse road, Randwick NSW 2031. The program is administered on Sydney Lodges’ behalf by Avoca Randwick, High Cross Randwick and Perouse Randwick.

MEMBERSHIP: Program membership is available to individuals (“you”) as stated in these terms and conditions. Only one Membership can be maintained by you at any time. Membership is not open to companies or other entities. Membership is free, however a valid email address, first and last name must be given on sign-up at the hotel, or any other location that registration might take place.

AVAILABILITY: Sydney Lodges reserves the right to suspend, restrict or discontinue this Program outside of 30 days’ written notice to all registered members. In the event that the Program is suspended, restricted or discontinued, benefits for all previous reservations made before the official census date will be honoured by the participating hotel.

TERMS & CONDITIONS CHANGES: Sydney Lodges reserves the right to change, amend or cancel any benefits and/or rewards offered by the Program at any time. In the event that conditions are altered, benefits valid at the time of booking may not be valid under the new terms and conditions.

DATA PRIVACY: By applying for and/or obtaining membership for the Program, or by exercising benefits offered by the Program, you explicitly authorise that your personal information given on registration or during the course of your stay at a Sydney Lodges participating property, will be processed and shared between different departments and property owners within the Sydney Lodges group.

RIGHT OF ACCESS TO DATA: You have the right to access your personal data held in our system(s) at any time. The access must be requested in the form of a written enquiry to any of the Sydney Lodges properties, or to Sydney Lodges head office.

BENEFITS: The benefits offered by the Program are only applicable once for each separate booking made by a member of the Program. Benefits cannot be redeemed for cash or future credit of any amount. Benefits cannot be accrued and are only valid under these terms and conditions for each individual booking separately. Benefits offered by the program are:

  • 10% off online rates
  • Best rate guarantee
  • Free unlimited wireless internet
  • Room upgrade
  • Priority check-in
  • Late check-out
  • Flexible cancellation policy
  • No booking fees

BENEFIT CONDITIONS:  The benefits obtained by you under the Program hold their own specific terms, conditions and interpretations. The 10% discount off online rates refers to room charges only and excludes any additional costs incurred during your stay including, but not limited to, breakfast, telephone services, room cleaning services and/or cancellation charges. The 10% discount is only valid when a booking is made on www.sydneylodges.com and the promo code is entered during the booking process; or by phoning the property direct and quoting the promo code.
The 10% discount does not apply to seasonal promotions, contracted rates or negotiated rates. The free wireless internet is valid at all properties. The best rate guarantee does not apply to package deals or mystery hotel deals on the websites that support this booking method. The lower rate must not be affected by any style of loyalty program including corporate negotiated rates and/or any reward redemption bookings and must still be visible and available at the time of your call. If a best rate guarantee claim does not satisfy the required terms above, the original cancellation policy you booked under will apply to the booking should you wish to keep it. The wireless internet is for up to two devices per booking for the entire stay. Room upgrade is subject to availability and cannot be allocated prior to the time of arrival at the property. Priority check-in is subject to availability and does not guarantee check-in before 2 pm. Late check-out time is 12 pm. Any bookings made by members of the program are subject to a 24-hour cancellation policy, otherwise, the first night of the accommodation will be charged. This does not apply to non-refundable bookings which are governed by their own terms and conditions. ‘No booking fees’ does not include credit card surcharges, which may apply to your booking.

INTERPRETATION: Interpretation of the Program terms and conditions is at the sole discretion of Sydney Lodges and its participating properties. Sydney Lodges reserves the right add, modify or delete any terms, benefits and/or conditions at any time.
