TERMS & CONDITIONS
DYNAMIC RATE: If you have booked the Dynamic Rate (excluding Stay & Save Promotions), cancellation is free of charge up to 48 hours prior to 2pm on your arrival date. Any booking modifications, including date changes and/or a full cancellation of your booking made within 48 hours of 2pm on your arrival date will incur a charge equivalent to the value of the first night booked. Any booking modifications requested after check in must occur at least 48 hours prior to the change taking place to avoid any charges.
NON-REFUNDABLE RATE: If you have booked the Non-Refundable Rate; or any Stay & Save Promotion, any cancellation will incur the full cost of the booking, unless it is cancelled within 48 hours after the booking is made and more than 7 days prior to arrival. Booking modifications, including date changes are not allowed. Non-Refundable bookings will be charged in full upon booking confirmation.
NO HOUSEKEEPING RATE: If you have booked the No Housekeeping Rate you will not receive any housekeeping for the duration of your stay. Any cancellation will incur the full cost of the booking, unless it is cancelled within 48 hours after the booking is made and more than 7 days prior to arrival. Booking modifications, including date changes are not allowed. These bookings will be charged in full upon booking confirmation.
NEW YEARS EVE BOOKINGS: If any night of the booking falls between 26 December and 1 January (inclusive), cancellation must occur before 31 October to incur no fee. Any cancellation made after 31 October will incur a charge equal to the total amount of the booking. Bookings made prior to 31 October that have nights that fall between 26 December and 1 January (inclusive) will be charged on 31 October. Bookings made from 1 November that have nights that fall between 26 December and 1 January (inclusive) will be charged upon booking confirmation. This policy supersedes any other terms written anywhere else for stay dates between 26 December and 1 January (inclusive).
NO SHOW POLICY
Failure to arrive at the property on the booked check-in date, will be treated as a no-show and will incur a charge equivalent to the first night unless it is a Non-Refundable Rate which will incur the full cost of the booking. Please note the remainder of the booking will be cancelled.
For booking made using the Dynamic Rate, booking changes are subject to availability and any applicable charges. If a date change is possible, the originally booked nightly rates are subject to change and higher rates may apply.
NO BOOKING FEES: No booking fees refers to the absence of any fees other than the room rate and any extras purchased for your booking. This statement refers only to the transactions and bookings made on this website at the time of your initial booking creation.
CREDIT CARD SURCHARGES: If you choose to pay for your deposit with a credit card, you may incur a surcharge, which you will be notified of when selecting your credit card from the drop down menu during the booking process. If you choose to pay the remaining balance of your booking on arrival with a credit card, a surcharge may apply for that specific payment.
CREDIT CARD PRE-AUTHORISATION: We reserve the right to pre-authorise your credit card at any time prior to your arrival date for any amount, but not more than the total amount of your booking, including any extras. If a credit card pre-authorisation declines or is unable to be taken from the card, or if the card is found to be invalid, we will request a new credit card number to be given. The new credit card must be in the same name as the booking. If it is not in the same name as the booking, an authority to charge form will need to be completed pursuant to our third party payment terms. If no response is given, or no new card is provided within 48 hours of us notifying you, we reserve the right to cancel the booking. If a new card provided declines or is unable to be pre-authorised for any reason, or is invalid, we reserve the right to cancel your booking with no further notice.
A valid credit card and identification in the same name that the room was booked under will be required of that person on arrival. If the credit card and/or identification presented on arrival are not in the same name of the booking, or if the person checking in is not the person who’s name the room was booked under, check-in to the room will be denied. The credit card used to pay the deposit will need to be sighted upon check-in. If your booking includes dates between 29th December and 1st January inclusive, a non-refundable deposit of the full amount of your stay will be taken with the booking is made.
GUESTS WITH BENEFITS
The Guests with Benefits loyalty program (“Program”) benefits and membership are offered at the sole discretion of Sydney Lodges and it’s participating properties as per the Sydney Lodges website; www.sydneylodges.com.
Program Operations. The Program is operated by the Sydney Lodges brand (proprietor: Challis Private Hotel Pty Ltd), 9 Springfield Ave, Kings Cross NSW 2011. The program is administered on Sydney Lodges’ behalf by Alison Lodge, Avoca Lodge, High Cross Park Lodge, Hotel Challis, Macleay Lodge, Perouse Lodge, Randwick Lodge, Springfield Lodge, St Marks Lodge, The Bayswater Sydney, The Blenheim Randwick and The Maisonette Hotel.
Membership. Program membership is available to individuals (“you”) as stated in these terms and conditions. Only one membership can be maintained by you at any time. Membership is not open to companies or other entities. Membership is free, however a valid email address, first and last name must be given on sign-up at the hotel, or any other location that registration might take place.
Availability. Sydney Lodges reserves the right to suspend, restrict or discontinue this Program outside of 30 days’ written notice to all registered members. In the event that the Program is suspended, restricted or discontinued, benefits for all previous reservations made before the official census date will be honoured by the participating hotel.
Terms and Conditions Changes. Sydney Lodges reserves the right to change, amend or cancel any benefits and/or rewards offered by the Program at any time. In the event that conditions are altered, benefits valid at the time of booking may not be valid under the new terms and conditions.
Data Privacy. By applying for and/or obtaining membership for the Program, or by exercising benefits offered by the Program, you explicitly authorise that your personal information given on registration or during the course of your stay at a Sydney Lodges participating property, will be processed and shared between different departments and property owners within the Sydney Lodges group.
Right of Access to Data. You have the right to access your personal data held in our system(s) at any time. The access must be requested in the form of a written enquiry to any of the Sydney Lodges properties, or to Sydney Lodges head office.
Benefits. The benefits offered by the Program are only applicable once for each separate booking made by a member of the Program. Benefits cannot be redeemed for cash or future credit of any amount. Benefits cannot be accrued and are only valid under these terms and conditions for each individual booking separately. Benefits offered by the program are:

Benefit Conditions. The benefits obtained by you under the Program hold their own specific terms, conditions and interpretations. The 10% discount off online rates refers to room charges only and excludes any additional costs incurred during your stay including, but not limited to, breakfast, telephone services, room cleaning services and/or cancellation charges. The 10% discount is only valid when a booking is made on www.sydneylodges.com and the promo code is entered during the booking process; or by phoning the property direct and quoting the promo code. Free wireless internet is valid at all properties. The best rate guarantee does not apply to package deals or mystery hotel deals on the websites that support this booking method. The lower rate must not be affected by any style of loyalty program including corporate negotiated rates and/or any reward redemption bookings and must still be visible and available at the time of your call. If a best rate guarantee claim does not satisfy the required terms above, the original cancellation policy you booked under will apply to the booking should you wish to keep it. The wireless internet is for up to two devices per booking for the entire stay. Room upgrade is subject to availability and cannot be allocated prior to time of arrival at the property. Priority check-in is subject to availability and does not guarantee a check-in before 2pm. Late check-out time is 12pm. Any bookings made by members of the program are subject to a 24 hour cancellation policy, otherwise the first night of the accommodation will be charged. No booking fees does not include credit card surcharges, which may apply to your booking.
Interpretation. Interpretation of the Program terms and conditions is at the sole discretion of Sydney Lodges and its participating properties. Sydney Lodges reserves the right add, modify or delete any terms, benefits and/or conditions at any time.
