    Group Accommodation

    Do we receive discounted rate by booking as a group?

    Yes, we will consider your requirements, length of stay, group size and then quote accordingly.

    How many rooms do we need to book to be considered as a group booking?

    This may vary as the capacity of the properties are different, generally a minimum of 5 rooms in the group booking.

    Are there any early bird rates for groups?

    It will depend upon your requirements and the lead time of the booking, please ask us.

    Is a group payment policy different to an individual guest payment?

    Yes. We will ask you to pay for the group in two lump sums. A 25% deposit to hold rooms and the balance will be due on invoice, closer to the arrival date. Payment is required either by direct debit or credit card (3% surcharge on all credit cards). Upon receipt of the invoice, please contact us directly with your credit card payment details or by informing us you wish to pay by direct deposit. Please email us a copy of the direct deposit receipt using the Invoice No. as your reference on the bank transfer.

    Can you hold rooms for my group without a deposit?

    A deposit of 25% is required before any rooms will be held for a group; this will be as a payment not a credit card pre-authorisation.

    What are the terms and conditions?

    The group terms and conditions will be at the bottom of your quote. They are dependent upon your group size, length of stay and lead time from booking to arrival. If you have any more questions, please contact our groups department here: groups@sydneylodges.com

    How long is my group quote valid for?

    7 days.

    When are final numbers for my group due?

    14 days prior to arrival

    Can all members of the group make changes to the booking?

    We would require one point of contact for the whole group to avoid misunderstandings.

    How many people can we fit in one room?

    Generally only 2 guests per room, some of our rooms can cater to 3 or 4 guests with existing bedding or sofa beds. However due to fire regulations only existing bedding in each room can be used. We cannot move mattresses from room to room to add extra people to your room.

    What is the after hours arrival/ departure procedure for groups?

    Please discuss this with us during your booking process, we are happy to work with you in making sure your requirements are met.

    Can you allocate all of the rooms on the same floor?

    Whilst we will do our best to accommodate your requests, room allocation will depend on the room types and bedding configuration booked.

    Is breakfast included?

    We don’t generally include breakfast in our rates but we would be able to propose a package for you as we work with a number of local partners.

    Can you arrange group Lunch / Dinner bookings?

    Yes of course, we have many local restaurant partners whom we can book lunch / dinners for your group.

    Do you have a meeting room onsite?

    We do not have private meeting spaces within our properties. Some of our properties have larger common spaces, for an open meeting, however happy to put you in touch with nearby event spaces to book for meetings that require more set up, space and privacy.

    Are we allowed to use all the facilities on-site?

    Yes, you will be welcome to use all on-site facilities, respecting other in-house guests.

    Is the WiFi complimentary for groups?

    Yes, all group bookings receive unlimited WiFi.

    Is there daily housekeeping?

    Housekeeping frequency will depend on the offer you have chosen during the quoting stage

    Do you offer luggage storage?

    Yes, however this will depend on the size of group / number of bags.

    Can you help us organise tours / activities for the group?

    Yes of course we can, please have a look at our Experience pages for ideas or contact us directly to enquire about other ideas you would like to explore. We will be happy to assist in organising these for you.

    Do you have bus / coach parking available?
