The UNSW Art & Design is located on Oxford Street within the radius of Sydney’s major Arts precincts of Darlinghurst, Woolloomooloo and Sydney City including the Art Gallery of NSW, Museum of Contemporary Art, the Sydney Opera House, Art Space, Biennale, Carriageworks, the Australian Museum, State Library and Object: Australian Design Centre and the Australian Centre for Photography. All locations are accessible from our Randwick accommodation properties by public transport.
The UNSW Art & Design leads intensive and rigorous art, design and media programs that are studio based and industry engaged, using the latest methods, underpinned by leading-edge technology and an innovative learning environment to inspire creative thinkers.
They have established research programs in immersive interactive environments, visualisation, robotics, art and politics, Indigenous knowledge and global issues. Students are from more than 60 countries globally and are Australia’s largest community of art and design practitioners, researchers, educators and students.
