LION DANCING AND CULTURAL PERFORMANCES
Get a front-row look at the exciting and suspenseful cultural performances at the Town Hall Steps and Thomas Street, Haymarket
HAYMARKET STREET FESTIVAL
Enjoy the 25 market stalls on offer along Thomas and Sussex Streets and look out for the 20m long Chinese Dragon that will be making its way through the crowds.
DRAGON BOATS FESTIVAL
Watch on as more than 3000 people get into stunning dragon boats and take over Sydney Harbour while racing to the finish line. This is the biggest dragon boat festival in the Southern Hemisphere.
LUNAR LANTERN WALK
Follow the glow down George Street from Town Hall and all the way up to Chinatown in Haymarket to discover the 12 larger-than-life animal signs of the Lunar zodiac. Each lantern will be lit at dusk, the Lunar Lanterns are a creative, contemporary interpretation of a centuries-old tradition.
